Your experience
Arrival, Rice Fields & Karen Evening
Check in at 2:00 PM and settle into your family homestay. At around 4:00 PM, head out for a walk through the rice fields and plantations to gather fresh vegetables for dinner alongside the Karen community.
From around 5:00 PM, learn to prepare traditional Karen dishes with the vegetables gathered earlier and sit down for a warm communal dinner. At 7:00 PM, local schoolchildren perform a beautiful traditional Karen dance. Afterwards, the evening is yours to relax, chat with locals and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
Waterfall Walk & Hand-Tying Ceremony
Start day two with breakfast at the homestay. Then join a local villager for a 20-minute guided walk to a waterfall — a quiet and refreshing way to begin the morning surrounded by forest.
Before leaving, take part in the traditional Karen hand-tying ceremony, a meaningful ritual of good luck and safe travels led by village elders. Check-out is by 12:00 PM.
