Arrival, Cooking & Dance
Check in at 2:00 PM and take time to settle into your family homestay. At around 4:00 PM, head out for a walk through the rice fields and plantations to gather fresh vegetables for dinner alongside the Karen community.
From around 5:00 PM, learn to prepare traditional Karen dishes using the vegetables gathered earlier. Cook together with local hosts and sit down for a communal dinner — a warm and memorable experience.
At 7:00 PM, local schoolchildren perform a beautiful traditional Karen dance. After the performance, the evening is yours — relax, chat with locals, and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Start day two with breakfast at the homestay. Then join a local villager for a 20-minute guided walk to a waterfall — a quiet and refreshing way to begin the morning surrounded by forest.
Before leaving, take part in the traditional Karen hand-tying ceremony — a meaningful ritual of good luck and safe travels led by village elders. Check-out is by 12:00 PM.
