Journey to Kanchanaburi
06:00 — Departure from BangkokHotel pick-up from centrally located Bangkok accommodations, then depart for Kanchanaburi Province, approximately 128 km west of Bangkok.
MorningVisit the Thailand–Burma Railway Centre, an air-conditioned museum documenting the history of the Death Railway. Continue to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, final resting place of around 6,000 Allied POWs, then on to the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai.
AfternoonExplore Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and walk the original Memorial Walking Trail along the railway track. Take a long-tail boat from Phu Takien Pier to the floating bungalows and check in.
EveningDinner at the bungalows, followed by a 45-minute traditional Mon dance performance. Overnight on the river.

MorningAfter breakfast, take a long-tail boat upstream to Sai Yok Yai Waterfall and explore Sai Yok Yai National Park — lush jungle, cascading water and fresh mountain air.
AfternoonReturn to the floating bungalows for lunch, then explore Lawa Cave with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Free time for optional activities: bamboo rafting, canoeing, river jumping or a traditional Thai massage.

MorningAfter breakfast, visit a nearby Mon tribal village — home to the Mon community for generations. Explore the Golden Rock, Buddha image cave, and the local school. Walk an easy jungle trail to a viewpoint over the River Kwai.
11:00 — Check-outLong-tail boat back to Phu Takien Pier, followed by lunch at a local riverside restaurant.
13:00 — Death Railway TrainBoard the historic Death Railway train and travel across the original wooden viaduct built by Allied prisoners of war.
