Elephant Sanctuary — Mae Taeng
Arrive in Mae Taeng for a respectful and ethical elephant experience — walking alongside them and observing their natural behavior in a calm, unhurried setting. Continue with bamboo rafting down the river through jungle scenery.
In the evening, stay in a bungalow surrounded by nature. Dinner is flexible with optional barbecue. The night ends with a community gathering and karaoke.

Begin with a 3-hour trek through Mae Taeng, through forest paths and mountain scenery. Afterwards, relax by the river before continuing to Mueang Khong — a quiet, deeply local village that feels like Pai did 30 years ago.
Wander the main street, try food from local stalls, and end the evening around a bonfire by the river under a sky full of stars.

Wake early to catch the sea of clouds and sunrise from the mountaintop. Spend a relaxed day in Pai — visit Wat Phra That Mae Yen for panoramic views, walk the Kho Ku So Bamboo Bridge through the rice fields, and admire the scenery from Yun Lai Viewpoint.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at Pai’s night market. The following morning explore Pai Canyon for dramatic landscapes.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed walk at Pai Canyon before heading to Ban Rak Thai — a mountain village near the Myanmar border with rich Yunnan Chinese heritage.
Take a boat ride on the lake, stroll through the village and visit the surrounding tea plantations. A peaceful place to slow down and enjoy local tea and cuisine.

Travel into the mountain communities of Mae Chaem for an immersive village experience. After check-in, take an afternoon walk through the rice fields to collect vegetables, then learn to cook traditional Karen dishes for dinner.
In the evening, local schoolchildren perform a traditional dance. The next morning, visit a nearby waterfall and take part in a Karen hand-tying ceremony.

Optional 20-minute guided walk to a waterfall with a local villager. Then take part in the traditional Karen hand-tying ceremony — a meaningful ritual for good luck and safe travels led by village elders.
Check-out by 12:00 PM, then return to Chiang Mai.
