Elephant Experience & Bamboo Rafting
Spend an unforgettable day with the elephants at Kerchor Elephant Eco Park, a beautiful natural sanctuary surrounded by jungle, ponds, open fields, and gentle hills where the elephants can freely roam.
Your visit begins at our Park and Observation Platform, where we will introduce you to our conservation work and explain why protecting elephants is so important.
Next, you will have the chance to feed the elephants their favorite treats—baskets filled with bananas, pineapples, and cucumbers—an experience that is truly one of a kind.
After feeding, we take a gentle walk with the elephants into the jungle. From our Observation Salas, you can safely watch them express their natural behavior. During this time, you will also learn how to make vitamin balls and discover beneficial herbs used for elephant care.
The afternoon portion of the program is perfect for passionate animal lovers and photographers. You will gain deeper knowledge, enjoy wonderful photo opportunities, and spend meaningful time observing the world’s largest land mammals as they bathe, play, and socialize. You will also enjoy a relaxing moment with our elephant mud spa.
Our top priority is always the well-being of our elephants. For this reason, we do not offer rides or shows. Instead, we focus on ethical, interactive activities such as bathing, feeding, mud spa, and gentle social interactions like trunk hugs or elephant kisses.
Your visit not only provides you with a memorable and inspiring experience, but it also helps support our rescued elephants and contributes to a more ethical, sustainable approach to elephant conservation in Thailand.
As an added bonus, this program includes a short trek or hike to a nearby waterfall, along with bamboo rafting (with optional swimming in the waterfall pool).
